Sweet Sophia Grace's Earthly Journey Ends

Our sweet baby girl took her last breath at 2:28pm this afternoon. She was wrapped in the loving arms of her mother.

  8. Once upon a time, a child was ready to be born. So she asked God, "How amI going to live there being so small and helpless?"

Gog answered, "Among the many angles, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.".

The Child asked, "Here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile, that's enough for me to be happy.

Gog answered, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy."

The Child asked, "How will I learn?" "I don't know the language that men talk?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to live."

The Child asked, "What am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God smiled,"Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

The Child pleaded, "Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earlh could already be heard, and the child in a hurry asked softly: "Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name?"

Your angel's name is of no importance, you will simply call your angle, "Mom"

My heart is so full of sorrow for your and your famly. I am so glad Sophia Grace was able to know her wonderful family before God embraced her in his arms. She is now keeping JoJo company and he can show her how things work being her older brother. I am sure this is an unbearable time for all of you, especially Sarah, but she will always be Sophia Grace's angel here on earth and they will always have a bond that cannot be broken even in death.

  9. "I'll lend you for a little time, a child of mine," God said,
“For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he’s dead.
    It may be for six or seven years, or twenty-two or three;
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for Me?

He’ll bring his charms to gladden you; and should his stay be brief,
You’ll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked the wide world over, in search of teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes, I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call, to take him back again?

I fancied that I heard you say, ‘Dear Lord, Thy will be done,
For all the joy Thy child will bring, the risk of grief we’ll run.
We’ll shelter him with tenderness; we’ll love him while we may
And for the happiness that we have known, forever grateful stay.

And should the angel call him much sooner than we’ve planned,
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand’.”

  12. Sarah, I'm so so sorry you had to go thru this again. I pray for you and your family. Sophia has Jojo and Angelina in heaven, she is not alone. This is another poem i received, that I want to share with you.

He Only Takes the Best by Nancy Rose Bouchard

God saw she was getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around her
    and whispered, ‘Come with Me’.
With tear-filled eyes we watched her
    suffer and fade away.
    Although we loved her deeply,
We could not make her stay.
    A golden heart stopped beating,
    hard-working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
    He only takes the best.
